Description of WorksThe Karingal Hub project consists of strip out works, temporary engineering, back propping and mechanical demolition of various sections of the Karingal Hub shopping centre to facilitate the construction of the new shopping complex.

The project will be completed in the following phases:

- Northern Entry Demolition (Including temporary engineering and back propping)
- Strip Out former tenancies for the new food court construction – including new skylights.
- Demolition of the Existing Food Court (Including temporary engineering and back propping)
- Strip Out Tenancies, strip out main mall and ceiling, remove façade off existing entries and cinema.

Strip out works consist of the full removal of all old tenancies furniture and fixings including shopfronts, floor coverings, ceilings including mechanical and electrical services. Areas will be taken back to shell in preparation for new fit out works.

The shopping centre will remain fully operational throughout the project, therefore due care and attention will be major factor to ensure no disruption is caused to the shopping centre during the works. Planning and scheduling works will be a crucial aspect of the project top ensure works are completed on time with the programme. All waste removal and material deliveries to live areas will be completed outside of trading hours so that the centre can trade as normal with no disruption.
